It is difficult to tell if I am double counting the top or bottom steel in the beam. You can see here in the image:
When designing the concrete beam with the Eurocode, there is no schematic like there is for designing in the American.
Hi @Msouth thanks for reaching out! The number of bars at the top and bottom are separated into positive and negative moment regions. I agree we can make that more intuitive by adding a diagram - I just added this to our to do list.
