This is especially significant on cantilevered members, where deflection criteria at the exterior cantilever may be different than deflection criteria on the interior - for instance, a roof member may carry a plaster soffit outside, and support a suspended ceiling inside.
Or the other way around, a short cantilever may support only roof outside, and support a vaulted hard-lid on the interior.
Really, it seems to me that all the ratios/deflections should be reported on a per-span basis, not just the global maximums. Perhaps this could be part of the “detailed” calculation view?
