Ability to apply a custom profile from “Custom Cross-Section Properties” into the column calculator designation.
This allows to calculate custom profiles that are not found in the standard library.

Thanks for bringing up, Noah! That’s a big one we want to get added. What profiles would you typically be looking to use with this?

Designing columns that are made of plate sections. Typically I-Shaped.
Noah - I’ve just edited the title of this thread to slightly broaden it. From our perspective, our steel beam and column calculators share much in common, and we’d likely look to implement custom sections in both at around the same time.
I’d also add that we’ve just heard from one of our North Carolina customers requesting something similar - to have custom composite sections in steel beams.
