We’re excited to announce a brand-new feature: Custom Steel I-Beam Design

With this feature, you can now create and design custom steel I-sections complying with AS 4100:2020. It’s easy to set up - simply input the geometry parameters, material properties, and link your custom section to a calculation.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how it works:

  1. Create a New Project
  2. Add a new Custom Section sheet and choose I-section
  3. Input the geometry parameters (depth, breadth, steel type etc.) and material type
  4. Link your custom section to the Steel Beam Calculator for design
